The Spartan International Consulting Group’s Three Gun Firearms Instructor course is designed around the law enforcement officer's traditional weapons Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun. This course will satisfy the officer's need for skill development and survival tactics. This is not a basic firearms or shooting school. The curriculum is designed to assist students in developing, preparing and conducting safe, effective, reality-based law enforcement firearms training and programs, both in the classroom and on the range. The course is designed to enhance the firearms instructor's knowledge and ability to teach and conduct tactical firearms handling and shooting techniques. Student instructors are introduced to and encouraged to discuss and experiment with a wide variety of tactical shooting techniques and philosophies. To become an instructor, students must attend all training, pass all written tests, pass all practical tests, qualifications, and show the ability to instruct and properly run a safe range.
This is a fast paced, physically demanding firearms training course!
Combat orientation is stressed through shooting techniques that include multiple target drills, tactical shooting positions, close combat shooting, one-on-one competition, and proper use of cover and movement.
*NOTE: Students should be in good physical condition, familiar with their equipment and have solid intermediate gun-handling skills established with the shotgun and handgun prior to attending this course.
Safe and responsible handling of weapons will be required at all times.
Waivers must be signed prior to participation.
